If we were playing the “Never Have I Ever” game right now, I would have to say that I NEVER took one of my dogs to restaurants with me.

I have no problem with people bringing their dogs to enjoy a meal in a restaurant’s outdoor space, if anything I’m a bit envious of. Two of my dogs are rescues and were not properly socialized as puppies, and we are still working on teaching our youngest dog, Gentry, manners. So none of my dogs are what you would call a proper restaurant.

5. Irish Rose Fair – If you’re walking your dog through downtown Rockford and decide you need to find a place to eat, look no further than the Irish Rose Saloon. Dining with your dog is allowed both indoors and outdoors, and you might even spot a furry bartender once in a while.
