Adoptable Pet of the Week: Sassy Sue | ARLnow

[ad_1]

Meet adorable Sassy Sue, the new adoptable pet of the week.

This pretty girl likes to explore and is looking for someone who will love her for who she is.

Sue’s friends at Arlington Animal Welfare League had this to say about her:

Sassy Sue’s favorite things are: Being outside with a plush kong and chew toys. She likes to explore. She can be a perfect running mate in the neighborhood.

Her special talents are: Sassy Sue knows how to “sit” and works on the “handshake”. She is a good listener. Ask her to sit while you wait to put down the bowl of food, she will wait for you to tell her it’s good.

Her perfect day would be: Running around freely in the garden followed by some chew toys or stuffed kong. A walk/run in the park, a few quick naps, dinner time, playtime, then it’s time to snuggle up.

If Sassy Sue was an ice cream flavor it would be: Rainbow Sherbet – sweet, bright and happy, go for it.

Important facts about Sassy Sue: She is a homebody, friendly with people and gets along well with other dogs (sometimes she gets too excited and we always train her to be more calm). She is very food driven and can be easily trained.

*Sassy Sue has not encountered any children/cats in our care. The AWLA team would be happy to discuss these topics during your call/virtual meeting.*
