Compass Group North America Brings Do Good Foods’ First American Chicken Brand to Fight Food Waste and Climate Change in Corporate Cafes, Health Systems and Event Venues

Starting this month, Do Good Chicken will begin appearing on Condé Nast and Google cafe menus, as well as other cafes and event venues operated by Compass Group. Through the Compass Group partnership, Do Good Chicken was also served at select venues during the US Open Tennis Championships.

A third of all the food produced in the world is wasted every year. According to the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), if food waste were its own country, it would be the third largest emitter of greenhouse gases in the world. Do Good Chicken recently announced that in the first six months since launching the products, it has already diverted more than 10 million pounds of surplus food from landfills, saving approximately 950 metric tons of greenhouse gases (CO2e) to enter the atmosphere.
