Kibble Katcher, a no-mess dog food and water station, won the European Product Design Award for Pet Accessories.
According to a company statement,1 Farmani Group, launched in 1985, developed the European Product Design Award to recognize talented international product designers whose innovative products strive to improve our daily lives and demonstrate “strategic thinking, creativity and of imagination”.
Kibble Katcher was a standout product with a unique spill-proof feeding design, raised BPA-free plastic bowls placed on an angled aluminum shelf that prevents kibble from falling on the floor, so less to clean up. Plus, Kibble Katcher’s floating water disc prevents water spills and separate catch trays prevent puddles.
Plus, Kibble Katcher is not only a cleaner, but healthier alternative, and the angle of the bowls promotes better posture and slower drinking. If kibble or water leaks into each of their catch trays, the tray will slip, so you can just pour kibble and water into the bowls.1
As well as being practical, Kibble Katcher is also sleek and crafted with aircraft aluminum and Baltic birch plywood for a mid-century modern-inspired design.

Winning the European Product Design Award helps us to feeling like taking those design risks can be worth it sometimes and gives us validation as designers to follow our instincts and keep designing products that people love to use,” said Brandon Kennington, Kibble Katcher inventor and founder from Los Angeles-based product development company BlueKube, in the release.
