Star winemakers and leading food and wine innovators take the stage at the 9th Annual WineaPAWlooza on June 24-25, 2022

(Napa, California) — May 25, 2022 — Jameson Humane (Jameson), a solutions-based nonprofit and animal sanctuary that educates to inspire change on behalf of companion and farm animals, is hosting its signature fundraising event, WineaPAWlooza 2022, live and in person on Friday, June 24e and Saturday June 25e at 5 p.m. PT. Combining two universally loved things (wine and animals), WineaPAWlooza has consistently earned its place among the top 10 wine events in the country, as cited by Wine Spectator magazine. Money raised at this lively and highly anticipated event provides critical funds needed for Jameson programs to improve the state of animal welfare and save lives.

Food and wine innovators join this year’s impact-focused fundraiser

This new iteration of Jameson’s annual fundraiser expands Jameson’s mission to improve animal welfare through global collaboration and education for the benefit of all life.

Bringing together food and wine industry leaders to discuss innovation, behavior and action-oriented change in our food system, including wine – for the health of animals, people and the planet – takes place on Friday evening, on Pritchard Hill. Amanda McCrossin of SommVivant and Brian Cooley of CNET will co-host a panel of prestigious winemakers and food industry leaders on June 24e from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The kitchen will be hosted by Little Saint, a Healdsburg plant-based restaurant overseen by three-Michelin-star Kyle Connaughton of SingleThread.

Returning this year in person to the famed Beckstoffer Farm Center, Saturday night includes the Grand Tasting featuring artisan wines and the winemakers who make them from 50 of the “who’s who” of sparkling Napa and Sonoma Valley wines ( click here to see the participating winemakers), as well as special guest, Christie Brinkley, showcasing her vegan Bellissima Prosecco. “When I heard about the work Jameson Humane does for animals and the planet, I knew I had to be part of this year’s WineaPAWlooza. The legendary Animal Parade will be led by renowned auctioneer and personality Fritz Hatton, followed by a delicious plant-based menu designed and executed by Goatlandia. The evening will conclude with the highly anticipated live auction of 20 spectacular lots, featuring cult wines, unique experiences and trips to global wine destinations.

Jameson Humane is an impact-driven nonprofit that collaborates and educates to inspire change in animal welfare, not just in local communities, but around the world. Monica and David Stevens founded Jameson Humane in 2014 as a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization to improve animal welfare through global collaboration and education to benefit all life. The organization was named in memory of the Stevens’ beloved dog, Jameson, an adopted Pyrenees who lived to be 14 and inspired the spirit and mission.


WineaPAWlooza is Jameson’s annual fundraiser, an event that has earned its place among the top ten wine events in the country according to Wine Spectator magazine. Money raised from this sought-after event provides critical funds needed for Jameson programs to improve the state of animal welfare and save animal lives.
